SKY-300
Innovative wireless solution
for elevator/ lift CCTV
system
SKY-300
is the first laser optical video transmission system in Malaysia which is
specially designed for elevator/lift surveillance security system to solve the
cabling and installation problems. There are some benefits of installing
wireless CCTV system instead of coaxial cables.
Installation
of elevator CCTV system involves running coaxial cables and enormous labour
work, especially in high rise buildings. Damage in coaxial cables is
inevitable, and requires regular maintenance. Installation, maintenance, and
inspection of elevator CCTV with coaxial cables are difficult and
time-consuming.
SKY-300
is the solution for that problem. SKY-300 provides an attractive wireless video
transmit solution for elevator with easy installation and at a low cost,
replacing the impractical coaxial cables and other accessories. SKY-300 is a
solution for wireless communication and the most economical system for elevator
CCTV in the market.
Features of the wireless surveillance system in
elevator:
- Max up to 990ft (300m) Operational Distance.
- High quality image transmission (DVD quality resolution).
- Real-time transmission.
- No need for frequency license and fee.
- No interference and no latency.
- The system is cost effective to implement. The cost of wiring a conventional elevator surveillance system exceeds the cost of the whole project.
- The system is portable. It can be dismantled and reinstall in other premises should the end user decide to relocate their office premises.
- The system is practically maintenance free and malfunctioned components can be replaced easily.
- The system can be enhanced easily to incorporate internet viewing, digital recording and to be integrated into the end user’s existing security surveillance system.

CCTV cameras to monitor crime in Klang
Source: http://thestar.com.my
THIRTEEN areas in Klang will be installed with CCTV cameras to monitor crime, traffic flow and natural disasters round the clock.
The CCTV cameras will be installed in busy streets, shopping malls, commercial centres, traffic light junctions and housing estates.
Klang Municipal Council president Datuk Mislan Tugiu said the move was aimed at checking various problems including traffic woes and crime.
See this: Mislan checking on the CCTV cameras with I-reponz team member Khairun Najahuddin at the control centre.
“We have a control centre at our office to monitor these areas round the clock.
“The CCTVs will enable us to check the traffic situation including congestion and road accidents, crime as well as natural disasters such as floods or landslides in these areas,’’ he said during a visit to the control room.
Mislan said the council was working closely with the police and that the local authority would be alerted when a crime occurred at a particular spot.
“We can also send in our team to ease traffic congestion or help police in their operation when the need arises,’’ he said.
Mislan said the CCTV cameras were installed under the Housing and Local Government Ministry programme.
At work: Members of the I-reponz team manning the control room.
He said the council’s Communications and Public Complaints Department would monitor the control centre after office hours.
“This way, the control room and the I-reponz team will be working more closely,’’ he said.
Council communications and public complaint director Norfiza Mahfiz said the public would be able to get better service through the integration of the control room and the hotline.
“It will help our team to have a clear idea of the situation on the ground, especially if the complaints come from the areas that have been installed with the CCTV cameras.
